Which BatMon do i need ?

Most of the time your off grid solution is consuming 1 to 4 Amps. |
Our 500A external shunt solution is as accurate or more accurate than other available battery monitors. However, ohms laws apply here and the lower the shunt current capacity means the more accurate it can be measured. So, consider what currents your off-grid circuits use and choose either the 30A, 300A or 500A versions. If ever in doubt, please consult an automotive electrical specailist for advice. |

DC to AC Inverters Use a lot of Current. |

You've made your decisions and want the luxury of using mains electric (who doesn't love that coffee machine!) so have designed your system to use a mains DC-AC Inverter. This means you will be dealing with current in the 100's of Amps. This is when you need to use a 300A or 500A BatMon. |
